Big Bang Announces Additional Dates for US Tour in Same Cities

On the Big Bang Official Facebook around midnight of September 29th,  Big Bang announces another chance for US VIPs to see them in person.  It can be remembered that their BIGBANG Alive Galaxy Tour sold out both the Los Angeles (Anaheim) and New Jersey dates only after two hours.

Due to popular demand, YG Entertainment and the organizer Powerhouse, opened two more dates, one in each US stop.  Los Angeles/Anaheim gets the additional show a day earlier (November 2nd), and New Jersey also gets a Friday date (November 8th).  Tickets start selling via Ticketmaster and Powerhouse on October 6th, 10 AM ET/PT.

The official details as shared on the BIGBANG Facebook are as follows:

Listen up U.S. VIPs! We're very happy to announce that 2 additional shows in US just have been confirmed!!
Which means there will be 2 shows in LA (Nov.2nd and 3rd) and 2 shows in NJ (Nov. 8th and 9th).
Additional tickets go on sale at 10:00 am (ET/PT) Saturday, October 6th, 2012.

Leeteuk from Super Junior Joins the Army on October 30th!

Leeteuk, a member of Super Junior, will enlist in the army on October 30th.

After receiving a basic military training for 5 weeks at 306 replacement depot in Uijeongbu, he will be serving in the military as an active-duty soldier for 21 months.

Leeteuk debuted in 2005 as a member of Super Junior and has been active by presenting powerful performances. Although the serious traffic accident in 2007 aggravated his herniated disk, he showed a strong will to join the army on active duty.

Also, as Super Junior has been receiving global popularity, it is expected that many domestic and foreign fans and press will gather on the day of his enlistment.

슈퍼주니어 멤버 이특이 오는 10월 30일 입대한다.

이특은 오는 10월 30일 경기도 의정부 306보충대로 입소, 5주간의 기초군사훈련을 받은 후, 21개월간 현역으로 복무할 계획이다.

이특은 2005년 슈퍼주니어로 데뷔, 파워풀하고 강렬한 퍼포먼스가 돋보이는 무대를 선보이며 활발히 활동한 데다, 지난 2007년 스케줄을 마치고 귀가하던 중 발생한 대형 교통사고로 인해 기존에 앓고 있던 허리 디스크 증상이 악화된 상황이었으나, 현역으로 입대하고 싶다는 본인의 의지가 강해 꾸준히 치료, 예정대로 현역으로 입대하게 되었다.

이특은 그룹 슈퍼주니어 활동 외에 MC로도 맹활약해 SBS ‘스타킹’, ’강심장’ 등에서 깔끔하면서도 재치 있는 말솜씨로 시청자들의 사랑을 받아왔으며, 오는 10월 30일로 입대 날짜가 확정됨에 따라 출연하고 있는 프로그램의 제작진과 시기를 조율해 하차할 계획이어서, 시청자 및 팬들의 아쉬움을 자아낼 것으로 보인다.

또한 이특이 글로벌한 인기를 누리고 있는 슈퍼주니어의 멤버인 만큼, 10월 30일 군 입대 현장에는 국내는 물론 해외 팬들까지 대거 운집함은 물론 국내외 언론들의 취재 경쟁도 치열할 것으로 예상되어, 일대 혼잡을 이룰 것으로 보인다.

Leading popular groups such as Girls' Generation, 2NE1 including KARA, BEAST, SISTAR, CNBLUE, 4minute and more are to attend the "2012 SBS K-Pop Super Concert in America" at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater located in Irvine, California on November 10.
